Equipment Focus | Loaders Bobcat T770 Bobcat Company introduced the new T770 compact track loader. All Bobcat M-Series loaders share features such as im- proved power and performance, better visibility and outstanding operator comfort. The T770 has vertical-lift-path arms and a height-to-hinge-pin measurement of 132 inches — 3.5 inches higher than the K-Series loaders. With an operating weight of 10,887 pounds, it has a rated operating capacity of 3,100 pounds, and is powered by a 92-horsepower water-cooled diesel engine. Case compact wheel loaders Case E Series compact wheel loaders offer Versa-Boom linkage for excellent reach, visibility and precise parallel lift. Get greater material retention with increased bucket roll-back. A comfortable cab boosts operator productivity. All models fea- ture easy access to service points at ground level. Four models are available. The Case 21E compact wheel loader is rated at 50 hp., with an operating capacity of 10,173 pounds. The Case 121E is rated at 60 hp., and offers an operating capacity of 10,849 pounds. The Case 221E and 321E compact wheel loaders are rated at 69 and 77 hp., and have rated operating ca- pacities of 11,947 and 12,676 pounds, respectively. Standard buckets range from 1 cubic yard on the Case 21E, up to 1.4 cubic yards on the Case 321E. Cat K Series 930 small wheel loader The new Cat K Series small wheel loaders (924K, 930K and 938K) are redesigned to deliver class-leading comfort, perform- ance and fuel efficiency. The new loaders use the Cat C6.6 ACERT engine, which meets Tier 4 Interim emission standards and can deliver fuel savings of up to 30 percent, compared with H Series models. The new loader linkage blends the power of Z-bar linkage with the versatility of Cat VersaLink or IT linkages for superior performance with buckets or forks. Featuring a new Intelligent Hydrostatic drive system, K Series models are equipped with a front-axle differential lock, new cooling package, and new operator's station with automatic climate control. Kubota SVL75-SVL90 compact track loaders Kubota entered the compact track loader market in a big way with the SVL75 and SVL90, and now the series is available with optional enclosed cabs. These compact track loaders are Kubota designed, engineered and manufactured. The ma- chines offer exceptional lifting capacity — providing outstanding performance and productivity. The 74.3-gross horsepower SVL75 boasts a 6,204-pound bucket breakout force and a 4,881-pound lifting capacity. The 90-horsepower SVL90 has a bucket breakout force of 7,961 pounds, and a lifting capacity of 5,869 pounds. Both models are powered by a 4-cylinder, direct-injection, turbo-charged Kubota diesel engine. Mustang RT Series track loaders Mustang announced the all-new RT Series track loaders. Two new models, the 1750RT and 2100RT, feature the HydraTrac Automatic Track Tensioning System. The HydraTrac System eliminates the need for manually tensioning the tracks on the loader before operation. This not only saves valuable time on the jobsite, but it also increases the life of the tracks and bearings by ensuring the proper tension immediately upon machine start-up, maintaining tension during use, and then re- leasing tension when the machine is shut down. Other key features of these new loaders include: Yanmar Tier III naturally aspirated (1750RT) and turbocharged (2100RT) diesel engine with 179 foot pounds and 206 foot pounds torque, respectively; optimized radial lift boom; state-of-the-art operator's cab; and a standard "5x5" Drive Control System that offers 5 settings that change 5 parameters to suit operator preference and application requirements. Terex TL60 compact wheel loader The Terex TL60 compact wheel loader offers economical, quiet, and low-maintenance operation without sacrificing cutting- edge technology. Each model incorporates transverse-mounted engines for optimal stability — so the wheel loader can lift and transport high payloads, and, in turn, lower fuel consumption. Designed with an oscillating rear axle, it provides com- fort and easy handling on rough terrain by maintaining 4-wheel traction, as well as articulated steering to effortlessly ma- neuver in tight spaces. Operators can easily and accurately control movements even when giving the loader full power. The Terex TL60 compact wheel loader is 50 hp., with bucket capacities between 0.65 cubic yard to 1.3 cubic yards, and achieves a breakout force of 8,325 pounds. New Vermeer S650TX mini skid-steer Vermeer announced the newest addition to its family of mini skid-steers — the S650TX — featuring a 4-pump hydraulic system that delivers hydraulic fluid flow of 13.75 gallons per minute. The additional capacity of the 4-pump hydraulic con- figuration helps enhance attachment performance and increase operational efficiency. An innovative frame design with idler positioned close to the front attachment plate improves overall lifting capacity and reduces overall machine weight, avoiding the need for additional counterweights at the rear of the machine. With tipping capacity of 1,890 pounds, and rated operating capacity (SAE) of 660 pounds, users are able to accommodate heavier loads using the S650TX. The S650TX is equipped with a 24.8-hp. Kubota D1105-ET03 diesel engine, and is available with either 7- or 9-inch rubber tracks. www.greenmediaonline.com/productportal www.landscapeirrigation.com Landscape and Irrigation 5 For information about these and other loaders, visit
