Equipped with a large- diameter blower fan, 6-inch-wide blades, and an oversized air vent hood, the BOSS-VAC Pro is built to quickly move more debris into the grass tube without clogging. Its patent- pending Dump From Seat option allows the rider to get within inches of an obstacle to empty the hopper, eliminating time-consuming stops and allowing lawn operators to finish jobs faster. A front counter weight system uses easy-to-handle suitcase weights without blocking operator's sight line to the front of the deck, and can be removed without tools. The BOSS-VAC Pro can be easily attached or disconnected from the hitch using existing holes on the mower. The collection system fits both the BOB-CAT ProCat and Predator-Pro mower models. BRINLY-HARDY UNVEILS FRONT-MOUNT DETHATCHER FOR ZERO-TURN MOWERS Brinly-Hardy Company recently released the DTZ-48BH, a 48-inch front-mount dethatcher for zero-turn-radius (ZTR) mowers. The new release marks the company's entry into ZTR- optimized lawn care attachments. The new Brinly dethatcher leverages the speed and ma- neuverability of ZTR mowers by being mounted on the front of the machine as opposed to trail- ing behind, which gives users greater control over the attachment. By moving the dethatcher to the front of the unit, users can now extract thatch and either mulch or collect it in a single pass, eliminating the wasted time of additional passes needed with tow-behind units. Featur- ing a patent-pending single-bolt design, the at- tachment clamps onto a wide range of mower makes and models in less than a minute. EXMARK ULTRAVAC COLLECTION SYSTEMS FOR LAZER Z PROPANE Exmark now offers UltraVac collection systems for its 60-inch Lazer Z Propane zero-turn mower. Two systems are available: a three-bag UltraVac S-Series system (12-bushel capacity), and the hopper-style UltraVac X-Series system (11-bushel capacity). The Quick Discharge Sys- tem (QDS) design of the X-Series system allows the rear-discharge door to be opened or closed from the driver's seat. Both systems feature a quick-attach design, which allows the operator to switch from bagging to side-discharge quickly, without tools. The compact UltraVac design minimizes footprint for increased maneuver- ability and easier trailering. A five-blade steel impeller and smooth-bore, large-diameter tube easily transfers a high volume of debris and clippings. Exmark's patented hood seal reduces dust around the engine and operator. GRASSHOPPER HIGHLIFT 15B POWERVAC Grasshopper has literally raised the bar for vacuum collection and debris management. The HighLift 15B PowerVac collector features a maximum emptying height of 72 inches — raised at the touch of a switch from the operator seat — allowing precise emptying into the center of truck beds or trailers with sidewalls from the street or curb. No more laborious raking, piling or scooping — simply collect, empty and repeat for continuous productivity. The rear-mounted, 15-cubic-foot-capacity HighLift collector features fabricated claw arms inside the hopper to facili- tate easy discharge of compacted debris. The deck-driven Quik-D-Tatch vac picks up virtually any kind of debris for a clean, manicured finish without the need for an auxiliary engine, and can be easily removed in minutes without tools. JOHN DEERE 7IRON MULCH ON DEMAND The John Deere 7Iron Mulch on Demand mower deck is stamped from 7-gauge steel, which re- quires an incredible 4,000,000 pounds of force to create. Stamped decks minimize the number of welds and provide a smooth underside, with fewer sharp corners which help distribute impact stress and reduces the potential damage if a deck should contact trees, rocks, curbs or other fixed objects. With a 5.5-inch depth, the deck is designed for excellent airflow so material can be processed quickly and efficiently. An 18-inch wide discharge chute provides even clipping dispersal. Six anti-scalp wheels are located at all four corners and the front center position of the deck. The industry exclusive Mulch on Demand gives the operator the ability to switch between mulching and side discharging with the simple push or pull of a lever — saving time, money and increasing productivity. SCAG TIGER STRIPER The patented Tiger Striper is the ultimate way to enhance the striping ability of your Scag zero-turn riding mower. The innova- tive Tiger Striper allows you to turn the stripe on and off, and remove the entire roller system without tools. Its spring-loaded design applies downward pressure to the grass. This further enhances the stripe and allows the roller to con- tour to uneven terrain better than standard fixed rollers. Available for most Scag zero-turn riders.
