Marquette University hosts
the 40th annual Milwaukee
Tennis Classic this month at
The Town Club in Fox Point.
Teams from six universities
will compete in a round-robin
singles and doubles format
over the three days. Men's
teams participating this year
are Marquette, the University
of Wisconsin-Madison,
Ball State and Valparaiso.
Women's teams participating
are Marquette, Wisconsin,
Cincinnati and Florida
International.
There is no admission fee
for the tournament. In case
of rain, men's matches will
be moved to Marquette's
Helfaer Tennis Stadium
and Recreation Center,
525 N. 16th St., while the
women's matches will be
moved to River Glen Elite
Sports Club, 2000 W.
Good Hope Rd. in Glendale.
