Welcome...
Step outside and enjoy the season's last warm weekends.
Options include Milwaukee Brewers baseball games, farm-
ers markets, festivals and our many parks.
2015's final lakefront ethnic festival is Indian Summer
Festival. Also drawing crowds in September is Doors Open
Milwaukee, with more than 150 locations offering free tours.
For indoor fun, attend the museums, theaters, and con-
certs Milwaukee County has to offer. The current show at
the "Domes" is titled Clueless, and leads visitors to solve a
murder mystery by collecting clues in the garden.
As you plan your adventure here, KEY Milwaukee is an
outstanding resource. No matter what you choose to do in
Milwaukee County, I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Surprise! Milwaukee is a gem of a destination.
The beauty, the events and the natural advantages
of our community astonish some of our visitors.
They arrive with few expectations and depart
with an appreciation of all Milwaukee offers.
Throughout our history, Milwaukee's identity
has been closely tied to our freshwater assets.
Lake Michigan and our rivers have always
been important for both commerce and
recreation. Water-related industry and waterborne
transportation are important parts of the economy.
Our lakefront parks and festival grounds draw
millions of people; our riverwalk, the trails and
bikeways along our rivers, and even our urban
fishing add to Milwaukee's character.
Our museums, ethnic celebrations and profes-
sional sports teams are all important facets of life
in Milwaukee. And our neighborhoods are loaded
with charm.
Our city has a lot to offer. That's no surprise to
residents, and more and more visitors are discover-
ing Milwaukee's appeal.
