NEWS & T RE ND S Hedge Solutions To Host First Annual "Women In Energy Summit" Hedge Solutions, Inc. will be hosting the first annual Women in Energy Summit on May 17, 2012 at The Radisson Hotel in Manchester, N.H. The event begins with a continental break- fast, exhibitors and networking at 8:00 a.m. with concurrent sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As an educational and networking forum for women associated with the heating oil and propane industry this event will include informative busi- ness sessions, exhibitors and a luncheon. Hedge Solutions announced the event noting that women have become a prominent force within the heating oil and propane industry yet often still feel isolated in what has his- torically been a male dominated environment. Many have achieved great success and serve as an inspiration to others who are either new to the industry or considering a career in energy. The goal of the Women in Energy Summit is to build a community from which attendees can gain enhanced industry knowledge, professional development, on-going peer support, and a spirit of cooperation. The morning sessions will outline the challenges and the connections women in the industry face, while the afternoon sessions will focus on solutions through collaboration. "We want to celebrate the many accomplishments of women in our industry" says Kris Magnusson, Hedge Solutions Account Executive and creator of the Women in Energy Summit. THERMO PRIDE ANNOUNCES NEW SALES AND MARKETING TEAM Thermo Pride's director of sales and mar- keting, Glenn Pottberg, retired after over 35 years of service on November 30, 2011. Pottberg has had an extensive career with the corporation starting with Burnham in Irvington, NY, including a number of sales and marketing positions with Burnham in Lancaster, Penn. over the years. He joined Thermo Pride in 2001 as Director of Sales and Marketing. Santangelo's career with Thermo Pride began in 1996 as a territory manager in Massachusetts. He has worked with the Thermo Pride Dealer network and led the New England sales force for the past 15 years. He will be working out of the newly opened sales and marketing office located in Westfield, Mass. Santangelo recently appointed Linda Keene as the new Thermo Pride marketing coordinator based out of the Westfield, Mass. office. Keene comes to Thermo Pride with ten years experience in the industry as the marketing coordinator for Carlin Combustion Technology, Inc.
