19 Oil Prophets More than 175 members attended the P&CMA Alabama Regulatory Update Seminars in Huntsville, Pelham, Montgomery and Mobile. Representatives from ADEM, The Department of Agriculture & Industries, and ALDOT presented explanations of regulations affecting the Petroleum and Convenience Marketing Industry in Alabama. Sonja Massey of ADEM explained the EPA's recently updated federal regulations related to Underground Storage Tanks and the implementation schedule for Alabama. Stacy Boshell from Ag & Industries, Weights and Measures Division explained regulations related to pump calibrations and Senior Special Agent, Marcus Shumack provided information on recent incidents involving credit card skimming devices found in retail pumps in Alabama. Mark Waits from ALDOT (Alabama Department of Transportation) spoke about the 'Transportation Access Management Plan' and how it impacts new construction, curbing, driveways, right of ways, etc. He also detailed upgrades of C-Store site regulations.
