2 www.studentdriverplacement.com December '15 TMC Transportation Breaks Ground For New Indianapolis Terminal TMC Transpor- tation held a ground- breaking ceremony on Tuesday at the site of their new facility in the town of Brownsburg, just outside of Indianapolis. It will sit on just over 34 acres of land and will replace TMC's current terminal location within the Indianapolis city limits. The offi ce will be 17,500 sq./ft. and will house driver training, safety, permits, logistics and operations as well as HR and IT functions. There will also be a good portion of the facility set up to give the drivers a fun and relaxing place to hang out when their equipment is in for service. The driver's area will have showers along with laundry, arcade, pool table, large LED big screen TV's, a quiet room and fi tness center. The equipment services portion of the facility will consist of a 56,000 sq./ft. shop and will have three fueling lanes and a state of the art truck wash facility. We are combining all maintenance functions we perform to keep the equipment up and running in top condition in one location. We will have bays dedicated to preventative maintenance work on both tractors and trailers along with express bays for quicker repairs. The shop will have bays for our appearance techs to put the extra shine on our signature black and chrome trucks and trailers. Load securement and tire bays will be located in the shop as well allowing close access to all the drivers needs under one roof.
