Sea-Land Makes Helical Rotor Submersible Pump Sea-Land's Aqua Solis pumps series 02/02 are equipped with a helical rotor that moves within a double helix rubber stator. The rotor is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and is coated with a hard chrome surface. While operating, the rotor moves on the rub- ber surface which is lubri- cated by the pumped water. The flow rate is directly proportional to pump speed while the pressure supplied is kept almost constant.
