Steiner debris management attachments The Steiner 430 Max tractor boasts full-time 4-wheel-drive, an articulated frame, a hydrostatic transmission, power steering, and air- and liquid-cooled engine options ranging from 21 to 33 hp. In addition, the 430 Max is available with more than 20 Quick-Hitch attachments, including blowers and sweepers for handling debris management. The turbine blower (pictured) features a 360-degree rotatable chute, 8,000-cfm air volume, 114-mph air speed, quiet operation, and a kickstand for easy hook-up to the Quick-Hitch system. Stihl BR 350 backpack blower Powerful, comfortable, fuel efficient and easy to use, the Stihl BR 350 backpack blower is an ideal choice for the landowner who is looking for professional results when tackling wet, heavy leaves and debris. This mid-range blower's engine technology provides improved fuel economy and delivers more than enough power, while reducing exhaust emissions, as compared to a standard 2-stroke engine. Other features include a larger fuel tank for a longer run time, an anti-vibration system to reduce operator fatigue, a simplified starting procedure for easy use, a tube-mounted throttle for single-handed operation, a 2-ringed piston for extended life, and a 4-inch wear area on the tube nozzle for greater durability. TMC's KTBL6500VA backpack blower TMC's KTBL6500VA backpack blower offers power and durability. Its 3.9-hp. (rated to SAE J2723), 64.7-cc Kawasaki engine — mated to a lightweight aluminum fan — generates 805 cfm of air volume at a speed of 201 mph. The single- piece-molded fan housing prevents air leaks from the seams and ensures airflow is directed both out of the pipes and to the engine for cooling ventilation. The metal frame provides the best protection of the blower both during use and in transport. An extended throttle lever arm, fully padded backrest, and ergonomically designed pipe handle provide hours of comfortable operation. A 68-ounce fuel tank enables longer operating time between fuel fill-ups. Troy-Bilt debris handlers Troy-Bilt offers the TB4BP EC backpack blower, TB4HB EC handheld blower and CS4325 chipper shredder. The TB4BP EC backpack blower (pictured) boasts a 4-cycle engine that eliminates the need to mix gas and oil, as well as delivers up to 160-mph air velocity. It also offers a comfortable and ergonomic design with a padded hip belt and a fully tensioned suspension system that distributes weight evenly between the operator's shoulders and hips. The 4-cycle TB4HB EC handheld blower produces up to 150-mph air velocity and can be used in the spring, summer and fall for all-purpose cleanup of yard debris. The CS4325 chipper shredder is ideal for converting branches, leaves and lawn clippings into mulch for composting or landscape beds. It boasts a 3-inch chipping capacity, 10-to-1 debris-reduction ratio and 5-bushel bag. Turf Teq Power Broom Model 1305BR Brush pressure, brush speed and pivot angle (left /right) can all be adjusted easily from the operator position on the Turf Teq Power Broom Model 1305 BR. This self-propelled power broom features a 47-inch width, hydrostatic transmission, differential lock and 13-hp. Honda engine. The multi-use capability of the power broom allows the operator to sweep debris or snow, as well as dethatch lawns. The power broom attachment can also be removed, allowing the operator to mount a power edger, power rake, brushcutter or plow attachment. TurfEx Thatch, Groom 'N' Sweep Package The TurfEx Thatch, Groom 'N' Sweep Package is an attachment system designed specially for zero-turn mowers. The versatile attachment can be converted from a sweeper to a dethatcher without having to purchase additional equipment. Available in both 48- and 60-inch widths (models MT480 and MT600, respectively), the Thatch, Groom 'N' Sweep Package uses a universal mount that easily fits the form of most major manufacturers' zero-turn mowers. The attachment includes 2 rows of brush sections, which can be replaced with spring-mounted tines to turn the sweeper into a dethatcher in just a matter of minutes. To switch between the two, the operator simply removes a containment plate, and then slides the brush or tine sections in and out of the housing. Ventrac RV600 vacuum collection system Designed for the Ventrac 4000 series tractors, the Ventrac RV600 vacuum collection system is ideal for grass and leaf collection. The RV600 consists of 3 primary components: 1) bin assembly, which mounts to the rear of the 4000 series tractors; 2) suction/blower system, which is powered by a 9-hp. Vanguard engine with electric start for efficient pickup and superior performance; and 3) high lift mechanism, which hydraulically raises the collection bin up to 60 inches and dumps to unload the contents into a garbage bin or trailer. W.E. BackPack Rack Cover The W.E. BackPack Rack Cover slides over an entire backpack blower and rack. It also works on backpack sprayers. Adjustable hook and loop fasteners slide securely around the blower arm. A strap buckles underneath to prevent the cover from blowing off. A loop handle provides easy-on/easy-off capabilities. The W.E. BackPack Rack Cover is made from the same durable materials as the company's other equipment covers. OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT MAY 2012 29
