Utilizing heavy-duty WEG electric motors, Electric Beasts offer the same capability and durability of their diesel-powered counterparts while delivering real-world energy savings of up to 70 percent. Separate motors for the hydraulics allow for inde- pendent control between the cutter and the hydraulics, and soft-starts for the motors make them utility friendly. Any Beast can be converted to electric power.
Morbark 2600 Wood Hog The Morbark 2600 Wood Hog horizontal grinder is per- fect for processing yard waste, brush and other mixed woody feedstock into saleable product. Equipped with up to 300 horsepower, the 2600 offers the Morbark Integrated Control System to maximize production and engine efficiency; a laser-cut, factory-balanced rotor; and an aggressive feed wheel with an internal plane- tary drive that has no chains or sprockets to provide more torque and reduce the need for maintenance.
