Two air clamps hold the boards securely in place during the cutting process. With some alternative decking products, the core of the board looks different than the top surface; to bring a more consistent look throughout, TimberTech has introduced an end cut paint. This latex-based paint is available in five colors that will match the entire line of TimberTech decking options. Colors include: Cedar, Grey, Rose- wood, Teak and Walnut. The paint comes in an 8 oz. pack- age that should coat approximately 250 end cuts when applied with a foam brush or bristle paint brush, the com- pany said. "We created this solution in re- sponse to the feedback we've received from a number of contractors," said Toby Bostwick, product manager. "Not everyone incorporates fascia, es- pecially on stairs, so this gives them an option to get a great looking deck in- side and out." The end cut paint is available at TimberTech's e-commerce site, http://timbertechstore.com/. For convenient access to World Fence News OnLine, visit www.worldfencenews.com
