Put the lid on and store it inside your cooler or your truck's refrigerator. Depending on the amount of space in your cooler, you could make a few of these up before a trip to have on hand. According to the USDA, one cup of the hummus alone offers 19 grams of protein. 5. Mixed Nuts Nuts are packed with nutrients, including large amounts of protein. One cup of oil roasted mixed nuts has 27 grams of protein, according to the USDA.
