Being prepared to take full advantage of new marketing opportunities in the manufactured housing marketplace is the key theme for the 2017 Manufactured Housing Show in Louisville in January 2017. Included in the resources and information being made available to show attendees are many model homes and a vast array of services and products targeted at giving you the competitive advantage in today's marketplace. Taking on a greater presence in the 2017 Show will be a series of educational seminars and presentations that will deliver key information from experts from the manufactured housing industry as well as a number of housing experts from outside the industry that can add new perspectives and approaches to the competitive housing marketplace. "These seminars and presentations dramatically bring a new element into the knowledge chain being offered to Show attendees," states Ken Rishel, chairman of Rishel Consulting Group and chairman of the committee organizing the series of seminars. "We have an impressive list of experts from the housing marketplace that will add a dramatic expansion of the information and knowledge being offered to attendees. This ex- pansion will serve everyone attending the Show very well, along with offering real value in terms of money saved to attendees." HUD has taken steps to operate its own qualifying installation program and these decisions are impacting their plans for filing vacant lots in communities. The Louisville Manufactured Housing Show is now recognized as the industry's PREMIER INDOOR MANUFACTURED HOUSING SHOW in the world! In existence for over 50 years, this annual show brings out an array of new home designs, the latest in technology, the best in suppliers' offerings and a look at all the newest amenities and system-built options the industry offers. There is no other industry forum where you can pull together such a wealth of information in one place to build your blueprint for success. The 2017 Show will be held January 18- 19-20. Being held again at the Kentucky Exposition Center, 57 model homes will be on display, along with an expanded offering of industry semi- nars, and more than ample time to network with industry contacts and friends. Last year's successful show attracted 1571 builder/developers, retailers, community owners/operators, and installers representing 598 different companies. "Overall reviews gave us feedback that our exhibitors were extremely pleased with the attendance and traffic flow at the 2016 Show. Sales were made, business was brisk, and the degree of enthu- siasm expressed by exhibitors and attendees was most rewarding," Hill noted. The Crowne Plaza Hotel will again serve at the Show headquarters hotel. The Crowne Plaza is located directly across the street from the Ken- tucky Exposition Center, and is a mere three minutes from the Louisville Airport, There is ample, safe parking at the Kentucky Exposition Cen- ter and there could not be a more convenient show site.
