The Altoz XP XD is available with 27-, 28-, 31- and 33-hp. Kawasaki, Vanguard EFI and Kohler EFI engine options, as well as 54-, 61- and 66-inch cutting deck widths. Altoz BOB-CAT Predator-Pro commercial zero-turn mower The Predator-Pro, BOB-CAT's top-of-the-line commercial riding mower, recently received several key updates to the engine, steering controls and cutting deck. The Predator-Pro now features BOB-CAT's new DuraDeck XF 61-inch cutting deck. This deck is 3/4-inch deeper for more efficient airflow, improved dispersal of clippings, and excellent cut quality. The Predator-Pro is also available with a 72- or 52-inch deck. The Predator-Pro's smoother, easier-to-use steering levers provide improved control and all-day mowing comfort, while a new FX1000V Kawasaki engine gives the Predator-Pro more power to handle tough mowing conditions. Cub Cadet's XT LX42 The Cub Cadet XT LX42 lawn tractor, which is part of the XT Enduro Series, features the first-ever electronic fuel injection (EFI) twin-cylinder engine designed specifically for consumer lawn mowers. The closed-loop EFI system delivers many benefits to consumers, including automotive-like push-button starting, dependable starting in all weather conditions (no choke necessary), better fuel economy and fewer fill-ups, and it resists issues that other engines experience with ethanol gas. Plus, since the EFI system replaces the carburetor, it eliminates carburetor-related maintenance/repair issues. This 679-cc EFI engine was designed specifically by Cub Cadet to make the consumer lawn tractor its most powerful, dependable and efficient. Cub Cadet Dixie Chopper's BlackHawk HP The BlackHawk HP by Dixie Chopper is available with up to 23.5-hp. Kawasaki and 25-hp. Kohler EFI engine options and 48-, 54- or 60-inch deck options. Full control is at the operator's fingertips with the BlackHawk HP's InCommand console, featuring a "Soft Start" keyless ignition for easier clutch engagement. The BlackHawk HP comes standard with a foot-operated, operator-controlled discharge chute (OCDC), which allows the operator to keep both hands on the steering levers while blocking the chute on the fly. Dixie Chopper The Encore Edge Encore Manufacturing, a division of Worldlawn Power Equipment, recently introduced the Encore Edge. A combination of muscle and efficiency, the Edge is available with a 48- or 52-inch deck. This zero-turn unit features dual-adjustment hand-lever controls, a Warner Electric clutch, a Hydro-Gear transmission and standard ROPS. With adjustable cutting heights of 1 to 4 inches, a standard travel speed of 9 mph, and the capability to mulch, discharge, or collect, the Edge will cut a lawn in half the time.
