Milwaukee St., features Michael Noland and After the Garden as well as Flora Langlois and Fantasy and Other Delights. The artists' reception is 5-8 p.m. Sept. 7, with the exhibits featured through Oct. 6. Noland uses bold color and repetitive, tight brush strokes to suggest the power of the natural world. In the words of Gabriela Sáenz- Shelby: "Flora´s works lay between the bound- aries of the natural and the imaginary worlds; frontiers that she transforms in enlightening and creative metaphors...." • Inside the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water St., is the MORNING GLORY GALLERY. Visit the gallery before a show (or dur- ing intermission). Hopkins St., presents Out of the Forest, Into the Furnace, bronze, wood and ceramic sculpture of Bernard J. Roberts. The gallery is located within Wisconsin's only fine art bronze foundry. Pier St. in a historic 1929 fire sta- tion building, and features works by more than 25 artists. The atmosphere here is welcoming to visitors and supportive for artists.
