DIVERSIONS CELEBRITY CHAT Boating never stops for 'Deadliest Catch' fisherman During the filming of one episode, Edgar Hansen saved a cameraman from a tragic accident. F By Sean Randall or Edgar Hansen, born to do. 56 | Overdrive | October 2012 Celebrity Series LIVE CHAT Join us for our free live chat featuring "Deadliest Catch" fisherman Edgar Hansen. When: Check the website early this month for details. Where: Overdrive Online.com/Celebrity Sponsored by: What can I do? Dear Jan, Lower back pain is to trucking as buns are to burgers. Truckers have to contend with not only the long, sedentary hours driving but also the vibrations of the road and the often non-ergonomic seat. He needs to see his doc or a chiropractor and figure out what's going on. Aside from that, I can give you the tried and true advice I collected from the good ol' Web. 1. Get a good seat and make sure it's adjusted properly. Your thighs should be parallel to the floor. 2. Don't keep anything in your back pockets – even a slim cell phone will throw you off balance. 3. Make sure the steering wheel is centered. You'd be surprised at how many seats are off center. 4. Every time you stop, take the opportunity to stretch and fit in a brisk walk. 5. Fidget. Move your legs around, contract your stomach muscles, flex your thighs. Relax your jaw. 6. Get a decent mattress for your cab. 7. Bend your knees, not your back, when lifting anything heavy. Oh, and one other thing. He's going to have to drop the added pounds. – Carolyn By Carolyn Magner Contributing editor OverdriveOnline.com/RealityCheck REALITY CHECK Back to basics years. Five years ago he was a healthy, fun-loving, physically fit guy. Today, he looks like he's aged 20 years, has gained 20 pounds and always smells like Bengay. He is in constant pain with lower back issues. I'm worried to death about his future. Dear Carolyn, My husband's been driving a truck for five – Jan
