CUSTOM RIGS READER RIGS The Standout Mike O'Connor of Mitchell, S.D., has added 8-inch curve-tip straight pipes, Jones Performance curb-length fenders and light panels to the sides of the sleeper and cab of his 2005 Peterbilt 379, among other mods. Upon its finish, O'Connor decided the rig was too nice to use for work – it's now for show only. The truck is powered by a 550-hp Cat and an 18-speed transmission.
