Marketplace New PTO Series Parker Chelsea has released its new 560V Series PTO, a rear- mounted power take-off system the company says features an integrated vane pump. According to Parker Chelsea, interchangeable vane cartridges help achieve fl ow rates from 3.4 to 31.7 gallons per minute at 1200 rpm, and pressure ranges up to 3500 psi. Th e design of the 560V clutch pack also provides a single continuous duty torque rat- ing of 335 lbs. ſt ., the company says. Parker adds that both the main PTO housing along with the suction and pres- sure ports on the pump can be rotated to provide maximum clearance underneath a truck. A wet spline connection between the PTO and vane pump also is said to ensure a long life and reduced maintenance costs and time. Th e company says the fi rst two products being introduced are MaxxClean super-concentrate all-purpose cleaner and MaxxAbsorb fl oor cleaner and general absorbent. Sloan says both product lines are certifi ed eco-friendly. MaxxClean has been formulated in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide a safer, more environmentally preferable alternative to existing cleaning products without sacrifi cing performance, Sloan says. MaxxAbsorb is said to be the safe, green choice for cleanup of hazardous liquid spills, including oils, fuels, solvents and chemicals. It is a universal absorbent that Sloan says is four times more absorbent than clay, ash, or sawdust. Th e basecoat is recommended for overall color repair, refurbishing and when striping is required. Th e basecoat is formulated for enhanced durability and faster dry speeds, making it suitable for two-tone jobs or striping, the company says. Since the basecoat is mixed from the same color formula as the single-stage topcoat, lower shop inventory is possible. Th e basecoat off ers pearl color capability, along with solids and metal- lic colors. To keep the Delfl eet Essential line effi cient and to keep mixing easy, both the basecoat and single-stage topcoats can be mixed from the same color formula, PPG says. Th e 55SI model has a brushless design and is rated at 420 amps at 12 volts, and up to 275 amps at 24 volts. Remy says it is suited for utility and work trucks in order to power invert- ers and plug-in power tools, lights and other electrical equipment. One 55SI is said to replace a dual alternator sys- tem, freeing up space under the hood for other accessories. Remy also says it sup- ports the electrical load requirements of long-haul trucks equipped with multiple battery auxiliary power units. Th e 24-volt models, rated at 250 and 275 amps, meet the high electrical load demand of transit buses, mining equipment and other off -highway vehicles, Remy says. Th e 55SI high output alternator currently is standard equipment on wheel loader and grader applications with a major off highway OEM.
