Initially beta-testing its match- ing platform technology in the Midwest, the company contin- ues to expand its network of owner-operators and shippers. The system is designed to ensure that there are no large carriers, brokers or underqual- ified drivers in its network. Upon being verified, drivers can bid on loads based on location and equipment. Drivers learn immediately if a bid was successful and are paid the exact bid amount, plus standardized accessorials, within four hours of proper paperwork submission upon delivery, the company says. Shippers pay a flat transpar- ent percentage to cover system costs.
