Industry Beat Two seasoned tax experts have been made partners at WTP Advisors, a global tax and business advisory firm. Jeff Malo currently leads WTP's U.S. Research and Experimentation Tax Credit services, and co-leads WTP Interest & Penalty Advisors, the nation's foremost tax Jeff Malo interest and penalty recovery team. Ron Hodgeman leads WTP Exchange, the Like-Kind Exchange ("LKE") affiliate company of WTP Advisors. Ron Hodgeman Terex Corporation announced the following leadership changes: Kevin Bradley, currently president, Terex Cranes, will transition to the role of senior vice president and chief financial officer effective immediately after the filing of the company's Annual Report on Form 10-K for 2012. Tim Ford, currently president, Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), will become president of Terex Cranes effective immediately. The Terex Utilities business and the recently established Terex Services North America business will continue to be his responsibility. He will also have direct responsibility for the company's Latin American operations as well as Corporate Strategic Accounts and Government Programs. Steve Filipov, currently president, Developing Markets and Strategic Accounts, will become president, Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions effective immediately. Filipov will also assume the position of chief operating officer of Demag Cranes AG as the company continues the transition of this business into the Terex family. He will retain overall Terex responsibility for the Russian market as well as Corporate Marketing. George Ellis, currently president, Terex Construction, will continue in this role and also assume responsibility for the company's operations in India. Matt Fearon, currently vice president and general manager of AWP Americas, will become president, Terex AWP effective immediately. Prior to this, Fearon had been managing director of AWP Europe. Aloysius Rauen will continue in his current role as CEO of Demag Cranes AG and has announced his intention to resign during the course of 2013 once the integration of the Demag Cranes business into the Terex group is further along. Upon his resignation, Steve Filipov will assume the role of CEO of Demag Cranes AG. Caterpillar Chief Executive Officer Doug Oberhelman was among a select group of people invited by President Barack Obama to witness the bill signing of legislation to establish Permanent Normal Trade Relations (PTNR) with Russia, following that country's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) earlier this year. John Deere's Worldwide Construction & Forestry Division has implemented organizational changes to enhance its focus on forestry customers. The changes include the appointment of Martin L. Wilkinson to the position of vice president, Worldwide Forestry and Business Development in the Worldwide Construction & Forestry Division. In his expanded role, Wilkinson assumes responsibility for the division's forestry business worldwide, while retaining his responsibilities for business development, strategic planning and communications. Paladin Attachments employees raised nearly $12,000 for the Salvation Army Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Fund through donations, bake sales and creative fundraising efforts. Paladin team members at the CustomWorks facility in Kernersville, N.C., also worked overtime to equip machines headed to the hurricane-devastated area with CP thumb and bucket attachments as well as window guarding to protect the machines from damaging debris. Bobby Oldham has been named excavator service manager for SANY America. Atlas Copco Bobby Oldham (Schweiz) AG has agreed to acquire the Switzerland-based MEYCO Equipment business from BASF Construction Chemicals Europe AG. The acquisition broadens Atlas Copco's offering with mobile equipment for applying sprayed concrete (shotcreting) in underground operations. Products include carrier-mounted concrete spraying equipment, concrete spraying arms, pump and dosing units.
