He's also back to fishing, working on his car and doing
yard work.
During knee replacement surgery, Dr. Wester
removes the damaged section of the knee and
inserts an artificial joint.

Martin had surgery on both knees in 2011. He began
physical therapy immediately following surgery. "I
can't say enough about the therapists. They really
work with you," he says.
Soon after joint replacement
surgery, patients begin physical
therapy to get back in motion.
