www.landscapeirrigation.com August 2014 Landscape and Irrigation 29 Equipment Earth-moving Equipment Bobcat 600 frame size M-Series The 600 frame size loaders' horsepower, weight and hydraulic flow combine to make them some of the most well-balanced machines in the Bobcat loader line. This loader size is ideal for land- scaping and construction contractors who need more power than what mid-size frame loaders provide. The S630 and T630 loaders feature a radius lift path, providing operators good reach and visibility at mid-range heights like loading flatbed trucks or backfilling. The S650 and T650 models feature a vertical lift path, providing operators the ability to lift heavier loads higher, making it easier to clear high-sided truck boxes and feed wagons, as well as place pallets. All four Tier 4 600 frame-size loaders offer operators a two-speed option for faster travel when desired. The S630 and S650 skid-steer loaders have a maximum speed of 7.1 mph in low mode and 12.3 mph in high mode, while the T630 and T650 track loaders can travel at a top speed of 6.6 mph in low mode and 10.7 mph in high mode. John Deere 50G excavator The 50G (36 hp.) features a wide variety of improvements, many of which affect the cab design to improve visibility, operator comfort and, thus, productivity. One of the biggest additions is a new door design for improved entry and visibility to the left-hand side of the machine. The door design also widens the size of the opening for entering the cab. Within the operator station, a new multifunction monitor provides a coolant temperature and fuel gauge, clock, two trip meters, regeneration inhibit, auto shut down control, and machine hours among the many functions. Since machine uptime is imperative on today's jobsite, John Deere added a third service door to the 50G to provide improved access to the cooling core. The cores were also positioned side-by-side rather than being stacked inline for increased cooling performance. Similar to all G-Series models, the compact includes features such as an oil-impregnated boom, and arm and bucket bushings to help deliver unsurpassed long-term durability. Bradco Dozer Blade The Bradco Dozer Blade by Paladin Attachments attaches to skid-steers to efficiently grade and move a variety of construction and landscaping materials. The 30-degree right or left of center angle and the 10-degree horizontal tilt are hydraulically controlled using only one loader valve for increased versatility and productivity that allow the operator to make adjustments on-the-fly. The blade moves and pushes large amounts of material quickly with a reversible 0.75-inch-by-8- inch bolt-on cutting edge and a formed 0.31-inch-thick-by-28-inch-high moldboard. Designed for durability, it features a large 3-inch center pivot pin with hardened steel bushings and a full-length replaceable high-carbon steel skid shoe. Available in 84-inch and 96-inch widths, the Bradco Dozer Blade turns skid-steers into compact bulldozers for backfilling, leveling, piling, grading and land- scaping applications. Terex TSV-90 The new vertical-lift path Terex TSV-90 skid-steer loader offers operators an 85-hp. tier-4-interim- compliant Cummins turbocharged engine, 3,375 pounds of rated operating capacity, and 131 inch- es of lift height to easily complete heavy pick-and-carry and large production-loading applications. Built on a robust chassis that boasts 10.5 inches of ground clearance and a 25.5-degree angle of departure, the TSV-90 loader is easily able to work on soft, uneven terrain and slopes where other skid-steers can't. Worksaver adapter for John Deere 600 / 700 series loaders Worksaver, Inc. introduced a new adapter for John Deere 600 / 700 series loaders that is designed to allow the use of Global / Euro type attachments. This new adapter features an all-welded design, plated rods and easy release handle to secure the attachment in place. The adapter pro- vides users of John Deere 600/700 series loaders with a greater versatility in attachment choices.
