Superior Industries, Inc. will highlight its Aggre-Dry Dewatering Washer, which includes a newly patented washing fi nes recovery system. The washer is a single machine integrating a fi ne material washer and a dewatering screen. The patented technology reroutes -25mm fi nes from an onboard dewatering screen back to the integrated sand screw. Rather than losing these fi nes to waste ponds, they are recovered as saleable material. Sand processed through the equipment is said to be stockpiled with a moisture content of 8 percent. Washers are available in single- or twin-screw confi gurations and in screw sizes of 36 to 60 inches. The twin-screw 60- inch model can process up to 800 tons per hour. The maximum material size that can be processed through the unit is 3/8 of an inch. www.superior-ind.com | Booth 1345 W.S. Tyler W.S. Tyler will demonstrate its Hydro-Clean washing unit, which cleans deleterious material from aggregates, recycled material, and other minerals while reducing water consumption by up to a manufacturer-estimated 75 percent over traditional log wash- ers. A single wash screen is needed for the unit's discharged material. Four models — the 350, 700, 1,000, and 2,000 — can produce 20 to 400 tons per hour, depending on application. Taking a maximum feed size of up to 6 inches into its vertical drum, the washer uses high-pressure nozzles, rotating at 90 rpm, to spray up to 90-per- cent recycled water on the material with pressures up to 2,900 psi. It removes silt and clay particles as small as 63 microns from mineral mixtures. Water consumption ranges from 27 to 211 gallons per minute, depending on application and model size. Power requirements range up to 300 horsepower on the largest model. www.wstyler.ca | Booth 1307
