PGANE: CT Fire Code
Passed - Will be Effective Soon
The new Connecticut State fire code as
amended was passed unanimously on
a voice vote by the Regulations Review
Committee on April 29. The code will be
sent by the submitting agency (DAS) to
the Secretary of State's office. When pub-
lished on their website, the new code will
become effective. While the new code
works its way through the process and
and becomes effective, a period of uncer-
tainty may be created. DAS will address
this period of uncertainty and attempt to
clarify it shortly.
