26 JUNE 2015 OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT www.outdoorpowerequipment.com PRODUCT ROUNDUP PRODUCTS HONDA EB2000i GENERATOR The Honda EB2000i is a 2,000-watt portable generator equipped with features vital to the industrial and construction generator market. Based on the popular consumer EU2000i genera- tor model, the EB2000i maintains key attributes of the EU series unit while adding new design enhancements, such as a 120V/20A GFCI recep- tacle, providing greater flexibility for use at work sites. Similar to the EU2000i, the EB2000i offers inverter power with a maximum output of 2,000 watts with Honda's fuel-efficient Eco-Throttle. The Eco-Throttle feature allows the generator to conserve fuel by varying engine rpm to produce only the power required to operate the equipment, improving fuel economy. Additionally, the EB2000i can operate from 4 to 9 hours without the need for refueling, allowing the potential for working all day without interruption. The EB2000i incorporates Honda inverter technology, designed to power computers and sensitive electronic equipment that demand consistent electrical current with a stable sine wave or signal. This feature could drastically reduce or eliminate costly worksite downtime by averting interruptions and damage to sensitive equipment. In addition, inverter tech- nology substantially reduces weight and noise. By eliminating the standard alternator, the Honda inverter models weigh 50-percent less and are 1/3 smaller in size than traditional generators. The EB2000i is extremely portable and lightweight — able to be hand carried by construction and other industrial users within a variety of jobsites while providing easy storage. Honda Power Equipment POWERHORSE 2,000-WATT INVERTER GENERATOR Power may be taken everywhere with the Powerhorse 2,000-watt inverter generator (item #42411). This CARB- and EPA-compliant generator delivers 2,000 surge watts/1,600 rated watts and includes two 120V NEMA 5-20R outlets and one 120V 30-amp NEMA L5-30R locking outlet. The efficient 80-cc Powerhorse engine provides an 8.5-hour run time at 1/4 load. It's super quiet (52 dB) and handles sensitive electronics with less than 1.5-percent total harmonic distortion. Quality construction includes 100-percent copper-wound heads, low-oil alert and a recoil start. Fuel tank capacity is 1.1 gallons. Plus, the generator's compact design (19.6 inches long by 11.2 inches wide by 17.9 inches tall) makes the unit easy to store and transport. Great Plains POWERHOUSE PH4000RI/E INVERTER GENERATOR WITH EFI Being off the grid doesn't mean you have to be powerless with the Powerhouse PH4000Ri/E inverter generator. Whether your custom- ers are camping, working or facing a natural disaster, the reliable portable power of the PH4000Ri/E with electronic fuel injection (EFI) goes wherever they go to deliver the power they need. The PH4000 puts out 4,000 watts of clean power, which is enough to run a 15,000-BTU air conditioner, lights, fridge and a coffeemaker, or several power tools all at the same time. The PH4000Ri/E is the first Powerhouse portable generator with EFI, which gives it a number of very useful advantages including ex- cellent cold-weather starting and hot restarts. EFI produces excellent horsepower and improves performance at high altitude. Other EFI advantages of the PH4000 include a self- priming fuel system, exceptional fuel economy and cleaner emissions. The PH4000 has an electric starter with a large battery, which also eases cold-weather starting. The included remote control starts or stops the generator from up to 75 feet away. Powerhouse inverter technology delivers clean, clear power that won't damage sensitive electronics like laptops, flat-screen TVs and game consoles. An onboard digital screen displays voltage, amperage, wattage, fuel level and information from the self- contained diagnostic system. Quiet enough to meet National Park Service guidelines for campground use, the PH4000 also meets the most stringent air-quality standards throughout North America with CARB, EPA and CSA certifications. The PH4000 features telescoping wheelbarrow-style handles and pneumatic tires for easier handling and smooth movement even on rough terrain. Powerhouse Products STEAM JENNY BELT-DRIVE COLD PRESSURE WASHERS Steam Jenny offers 4 models of belt-drive cold pressure washers. Designed for heavy use, belt- drive pressure washers provide a longer pump life than direct-drive units. The extended service life is due to the pulley system, which turns the pump significantly slower than if the pump was coupled with the engine crankshaft. Additionally, the belt absorbs engine vibration and allows the pump to be located farther away from the engine heat. All models are designed for maximum durability and portability to meet the demands of commercial-duty applications. The pressure washers are powered by 9- or 13-hp. Honda GX Series engines, and all models feature a triplex ceramic plunger pump, which provides years of service while requiring little maintenance. The units offer an ideal balance between power and volume. They are avail- able with pressure ratings between 3,000 and 4,000 psi, and flow rates vary between 3 and 4 gpm. Furthermore, a customizable option allows customers to choose a unit with pressure and flow ratings based on their specific needs. Steam Jenny, a product division of Jenny Products, Inc.
