The Toro Company announced on June 12 the availability of the new MyRIDE suspension system on select Toro Z Master zero-turn mowers. Built for maximum comfort, the MyRIDE suspension system features a fully suspended operator platform that delivers 3.6 inches of travel and isolates the operator from the rest of the machine. This design reduces impacts, bumps and vibrations for a more comfortable ride. The MyRIDE suspension system also features adjustable rear shocks, which allow each operator to choose his or her own personalized comfort setting. The system is quick and easy to adjust, and it offers a wide range of ride preferences from soft to firm. Best of all, new Z Master mowers with MyRIDE deliver maximum comfort and ride quality without compromising the performance, durability, reliability and quality of cut. The MyRIDE suspension system will be available on four models in the Z Master line, including the 3000 Series with a 60-inch deck, the 5000 Series with a 60-inch deck, and the 6000 Series with a 60- or 72-inch deck. "Our goal was to combine Toro's legendary toughness with an industry- leading ride experience," said Chris Hannan, marketing manager for The Toro Company. "The response from those who have tested this product in the field has been overwhelmingly positive." The MyRIDE suspension system is ideal for acreage owners with larger properties, as well as landscape contractors and other professionals who mow each day. Customers will benefit from the MyRIDE suspension system with an outstanding ride experience and increased productivity — especially when mowing for extended periods of time. NEW PRODUCTS PRODUCTS 30 AUGUST 2015 OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT www.outdoorpowerequipment.com Toro introduces MyRIDE suspension system on Select Z Master mowers P R O D U C T N E W S For DIY users, efco is introducing a split-boom brushcutter — the DS 2400 D. It is designed to be used for private lawns and professionals responsible for maintenance of green spaces around condominiums, residential complexes and resorts. Both user groups can benefit enormously from a multipurpose tool that can be quickly set up as a brushcutter, hedge trimmer, pruner or leaf blower. The split-boom powerhead is compact and lightweight with a no-tools coupling system for mounting the various attachments to use in all seasons. Each attachment is managed separately and can be purchased as the need arises. Users can also purchase an extension that increases the length of the drive tube to reach higher hedges or loftier branches, removing the use of ladders or access platforms. Using just one engine for all applications means simplified maintenance and refueling of just one tank, while simultaneously reducing the space required for transport or winter storage. The 21.7-cc 2-stroke engine delivers 1.2 hp., featuring generous torque output and with minimal fuel consumption. The brushcutter's compact engine and balanced weight distribution ensure a good level of maneuverability and control in all working conditions and applications.
