PRODUCT ROUNDUP EQUIPMENT FOCUS FERRIS SOFT RIDE STAND-ON (SRS) Z2 The new Ferris Soft Ride Stand-on (SRS) Z2 boasts a patent-pending adjustable operator platform, featuring suspension technology, optimizing operator comfort, and increasing productivity. The mow- er's excellent balance provides stability and maneuverability that exceeds expectations for traction and handling, whether on slopes or on flat terrain. The SRS is designed to allow for quick operator exit and re-entry. If the operator needs to walk away from the mower to move an obstacle or pick up debris, the PTO will automatically dis- engage when the operator leaves the platform. Restarting the blades is just as easy. When the operator steps back onto the platform and re-engages the PTO switch, he or she can continue mowing. Benefits of this compact mower include full turnaround on open and enclosed trailers for easy loading and unloading; minimal space required for transport and storage; and excellent maneuverability on tight proper- ties. Other features include a Vanguard 810 EFI or Kawasaki FX801V engine; dual commercial Hydro-Gear ZT-3400 transaxles with 7-inch cooling fans; easy-locking, 3-position, speed-control setting; iCD cut- ting system with striping kit; a 52- or 61-inch, fabricated-steel mowing deck; hand-operated height-of-cut (adjusts in 1/4-inch increments from 1.75 to 5 inches); ergonomic control panel with integrated forward and reverse lever with stabilizer bar; 23-inch drive tires and 13-inch, flat- free caster tires; and a ground speed up to 10 mph. Ferris, a brand of Briggs & Stratton Turf & Consumer Products GRAVELY PRO-STANCE The Gravely Pro-Stance is a hybrid machine, which can be converted from a stand-on mower to a walk-behind mower by simply flipping up the isolated suspension platform. Built for operator comfort, this machine features improved operator presence controls with larger-diameter handles, as well as forward and reverse index bars. A large operator pad, foot-pedal deck lift and foot platform help reduce fatigue during all-day jobs. Complete with the industry's largest semi-pneumatic front tires and commercial-strength front caster forks, this machine is also built to be reliable and durable. Kohler 61 FL 23.5- hp. EFI engines are available with the 61-inch models, and Kohler 52 FL 23-hp. EFI engines are available on the 52-inch models. A variety of Kawasaki engine options are also available with the 61-, 52-, 48- and 36-inch models. Several features allow the unit to perform equally on flat terrain and inclines. Large rear tires improve traction and hillside performance, and the machine's fenders are designed with foot pegs for hillside weight distribution. In addition, integrated Hydro-Gear ZT-3400 transmissions offer a lower center of gravity for better hillside stability. Gravely, an Ariens Co. HONDA HRC COMMERCIAL SERIES The Honda HRC Commercial Series consists of the only 2-blade, 21-inch commercial lawn mowers. The series is available in 2 models: the self-propelled, hydrostatic-drive HRC216HXA and the push-type HRC216P- DA. The performance of the HRC Series is enhanced by Honda's exclusive MicroCut twin-blade mulching technology. Twin blades produce finer clippings for mulching, and finer clippings mean less bagging. Other standard features and benefits include: Dome-shaped deck design that facilitates both bagging and mulching while delivering finer clipping particles. Hydrostatic Cruise Control Shaft Drive transmission for increased durability (HXA model only) Front guard provides mower deck and engine protection; it also allows for a convenient transport tiedown.
