The Truckers' Choice champion will be chosen in a weeks-long voting contest held on OverdriveOnline.com. Readers will vote for their favorite rig among the roughly 20 National Championship competitors. The winner will be named at the Pride & Polish awards ceremony Saturday, Aug. 27, and recognized along with the other six National Champions. Visit OverdriveOnline.com/truckerschoice to see all of the finalists and cast your vote. Voters can vote once per day until Friday, Aug. 19. Brian Davis and his Davis Bros. Trucking are back in the National Championship for the second straight year with their 2015 Peterbilt 386 and 2016 Wilson grain hauler. The truck, dubbed 'Buzz Kill,' won Best of Show in the Limited-Mileage Combo cat- egory in the April-held 75 Chrome Shop Pride & Polish show in Florida. The Pete also won Best of Show in the same category in 2015's Fitzgerald's Pride & Polish event. Shawn Cielke's 2005 Kenworth T600 and 2017 Wabash trailer, which he named 'Redneck Low,' won Best of Show, Working Combo at the 75 Chrome Shop Show in April, qualifying the rig to compete in the Pride & Polish finale. Cody Madsen and his 2015 Peterbilt 389 qualified to compete in the Pride & Polish National Championship with a Best of Show in the Working Bobtail category at last year's PDI Pride & Polish show, held in October.
