We are seeing one to two new companies show up on the registry as certified devices every month. What does certified really mean? Who has vetted these devices and what makes them better or worse than other devices on the market? These are questions that we need to be asking before installing these units in our trucks. Just because a unit has been "certified" does not mean it is a device that fits our needs and it does not mean that it is any better than a device that isn't certified.
