WHO WE ARE
JOSEPH BAXTER is the only Certified Appellate Specialist between Santa Rosa and the
Oregon border. Joseph Baxter graduated first in his class from Georgetown University,
clerked on the Ninth Circuit, and later served on the State Bar Appellate Law Advisory
Commission where he wrote the appellate certification exam. Mr. Baxter, who practices in
all California and Federal courts, has many successful decisions at the California Courts of
Appeal, California Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
SARA BAXTER has worked in the legal field since 1993 and began practicing law in 2006
after graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law. Ms. Baxter practices
Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Appeals. Her areas of expertise include
Winery and Vineyard Transactions, Real Estate, Real Property, Business, Contracts, Torts,
Personal Injury, Marital Dissolution, Civil Rights, and ADA Defense.
