This contemporary restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Plae has a full bar…but also a huge selection of coffees, organic teas and mocktails. For the best lobster mac 'n cheese you'll ever have, a trip to a'Bravo Bistro & Wine Bar should be on your list. There are plenty of gluten free options on the menu including the pan seared scallops. Expressing Japan's traditional flavors and styles, Phin Sushi and Steak has excellent choices for the sushi lover. They've even got the "Lambeau Leap" and the "Cheesehead" for you to try. Play The scenic East River Parkway and Trail offers over two miles of sightseeing along the East River. The trail runs from Manderly Way to Westminster Drive. Parking and trail access can be found off Westminster Drive. Shop You'll find a host of big box stores in the area, but Josephine's Attic Gifts & Décor is full of delightful one-of- a-kind upcycled clothing, décor and gifts for all occasions. Take your time finding treasures inside the 1950s-era home built by the owner's grandfather. Then, take a trip around the world…in cheeses that is. Nala's fromagerie does have some great Wisconsin cheese on hand, but this tiny little shop imports flavors from 16 countries around the world! ALLOUEZ RAISE YOUR MUG at Lorelie's Oktoberfest Sept. 22-23 Eat Local mainstay, Allouez Café offers up breakfast and lunch. Homemade pies and bread are their specialty. A good place to relax and be treated like one of the family. Have you heard of the famous Wisconsin fish fry? Well, while they serve up a mean Weinerschnitzel, Friday nights at the German-style restaurant, Lorelie Inn are reserved for a Wisconsin perch plate. And speaking of traditions, you'll find another phenomenon, the Wisconsin Supper Club in this little suburb of Green Bay. Try Galley 57 on a Saturday night for their prime rib special in their dining room overlooking the Fox River. Explore History is important here. The Astor Neighborhood was established in 1671 along the shore of the Fox River. You'll see beautiful historic homes line the streets. Hazelwood Historic House Museum is located within the district. It is open for visitors to tour, and several times throughout the year you can take a guided walking tour of the neighborhood. The Hazelwood staff also does very interesting narrated cemetery walks. Close by is the 54-acre Heritage Hill State Historical Museum. Tour 24 historical and reproduction buildings representing the early history of Northeastern Wisconsin from 1672 to 1940. Play Hop on your bike and ride the scenic Fox River Trail. Allouez's stretch of the trail lies between the communities of Green Bay and De Pere. If you need to stop for a refreshment along the way, waterfront grill, Jimmy Seas will hit the spot.
