With Complete Die Sets
Both of these convenient T&B connector tools is supplied with a
complete set of installing dies. The multi-nest ed block of dies reduces
the amount of parts and simplifies die selection. Each die embosses
its die code on the connector for easy installation and inspection. The
dependable Shure Stake
®
feature will not allow these tools to re lease
until full pressure has been applied, assuring a complete crimp cycle.
Model TBM5S includes five multi-nested die sets for installing
copper and alumi num conductors. Dies mount directly on the tool so
they can't be lost. The TBM8S includes eight multi-nested die sets
for installing copper and aluminum conductors. Each die has a slot
molded into the hard polyethylene plastic case for easy storage.

features the Shure Stake device that won't allow it to release
until full pressure has been applied, creating a full crimp cycle.
The 26" x 4" TBM6S comes with a wire brush in a hard
polyethylene plastic case with molded-in die slots for easy storage. Dies sold separately.
The optional TBM6D-1 Die Kit includes four upper dies (13472, 13472, 13474 and 13475),
two lower dies (13476 and 13477) and 13478 die set. Additional dies plus green and blue
aluminum H-tap sets also sold individually.

's L'IL CRIMP
™
has a lightweight latch head design that provides enhanced
clearance for tap connectors. Its 180° head rotation allows the user to crimp in tight spaces.
An audible pressure pop-off valve indicates completed crimp. High-speed ram advance pro-
vides faster crimps with less hand strokes. Features a handle trigger drain for ram retraction.
The permanent "D3" crimp groove accepts all BURNDY "W" and "X" dies.
Specifications include: output force (6 tons), total strokes (seven without connector). Use
it to install splices, taps and terminations (#8-kcmil through 500-kcmil copper, #8-kcmil
through 350-kcmil flexible cable and #8-kcmil through 350-kcmil aluminum).
This 7.8-pound tool measures 17.6" x 6". Five-year limited warranty.
