cutting tools incorporating high leverage shear-type design. Rugged steel blades, fiberglass

3.5-pound MCC600 is 21" long with a 500-kcmil cutting capacity. The 9-pound MCC1000

Copper and Aluminum Cutters

These Thomas & Betts mechanical cable cutters are designed for copper and aluminum
cable cutting. They feature fiberglass handles and shearing hook jaws. They are not for use
on steel. The 364RF cutter will cut cable up to 500 kcmil and is 21.5" long. The 366RF
cutter will cut cable up to 1000 kcmil.

mechanisms for positive blade movement control. 4-pound RCC556 is 21" long and has a
cutting capacity of 500-kcmil copper and aluminum plus 556 ACSR. It features a stiffener
bar for operator safety when cutting ACSR. The 4.5-pound RCC1000 32" with a 1000-kcmil

750-kcmill Ratcheting Cable Cutter
This rugged, compact ratchet-action cable slicer cuts cables quickly and easily with low
force, even in cramped spaces. Its cable cutting range is 750-kcmil copper and aluminum.
It's ratchet design, combined with its 10" handle length and light weight, make it ideal for
working in tight spaces and does the work of much larger slicers with less effort.
Blades are made of hardened alloy steel for long service life and are easy to sharpen
without removal. Durable plastic hand grips give you a firm, comfortable grip when cutting.

Battery Actuated Cable Cutter
Cut up to 1000 kcmil
The BURNDY BC1000CUAL 12V DC Battery
Actuated Cable Cutter features a hook head
designed to cut cables in small spaces. Hardened
steel blades cut with ease through up to 750 kcmil
hard drawn copper cable, up to 1000 kcmil soft
drawn copper cable and up to 2" O.D. aluminum
cable. The three-way switch (forward, reverse and
neutral) enables the user to make partial cuts, back
off cables or make adjustments during cutting.
Use of this cable cutter simplifies conductor cut-
ting. Its ergonomic design allows for cutting in tight
spaces, and the squeeze trigger design minimizes
hand and wrist stress for the user. The wrist loop
adds security when cutting cables overhead. The
cable cutter withstands rugged use and resists oil
and solvents. Fast charge the battery to 80% in
about an hour, quick charge in four to six hours, or
fully charge in 14 to 16 hours.
The BURNDY cable cutter comes with a sealed
ni-cad 12V battery, 120V AC charger, carrying case
and wrist loop. Not designed for steel or ACSR.
