A first-of-its- kind, Candy Cane is the twenty-ninth flavor in Burnett's vodka portfolio and is available through the end of December. The new flavor is supported by holiday POS for floor displays and shelf facings, as well as sales education materials. It is available in 1.75 liter, 1 liter and 750 ml ($9.99 suggested retail) sizes.
x Daily's recently
announced the introduction of two new frozen pouch
flavors – Spiced Sangria and Hard Cider. These latest additions to the Daily's frozen pouch cocktail line, which includes a variety of Margaritas and Daiquiris, are seasonal flavors that will be available for a limited time. The Hard Cider has natural apple flavor with cinnamon and seasonal spices, while the Spiced Sangria is
made with red wine infused with oranges, pears, cranberry and holiday spices. The new pouches can also be enjoyed warm, according to the company.
x Marnier-Lapostolle has introduced the Lapostolle Collection Syrah and Carmenere, two series of small-batch wines featuring the flavors of Chile. The Carmenere collection is made up of three wines from three distinct regions – Andes, Apalta and Marchigue. The Syrah collection fea-
tures six selections ranging from the northern to southern parts of the country. Each collection is available in a six-bottle set, with a suggested retail price of $199.99.
x The line of Seagram's Twisted Gin has added a new flavor to its portfolio: Seagram's Peach Twisted Gin. The new flavor (70 proof) is available in 50 ml, 200 ml, 375 ml, 750 ml and 1.75 liter sizes and retails for a suggested price of $11.99 for a 750 ml bottle. The back label features the Seagram's Peach Twisted Berry Peach Fizz cocktail recipe, giving consumers an easy-to-create cocktail.
x Heineken USA has introduced Tecate Michelada into the U.S. Michelada uses Tecate beer and blends it with the taste of lime, spices and a hint of chili pepper, the company says, creating a bold, balanced "flavored beer mix."
x Black Velvet Canadian Whisky has debuted Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Flavored Whisky, the brand's first flavor extension, which combines natural toasted caramel flavors with Black Velvet Whisky. At 70 proof, it is avail- able nationally in 750 ml and 50 ml sizes, with a suggested retail price of $12.49 for the 750 ml size bottle.
