Other ergonomic features include a standard adustable seat an angled steering wheel and a dead-pedal for driers to rest their left foot. eterbilt is working with its partners to explore the capabilities and performance of batteryelectric drie systems for the odel said Scott ewhouse chief engineer. "Customers in urban enironments and applications such as drayage and refuse collection stand to benet from the zero-emissions performance," ewhouse said. A odel can be euipped with the ranspower lecruck drie system which uses highpower electric motors inerters and batteries to power commercial trucks weighing as much as pounds. A kilo- watthour battery pack enables an ur- ban refuse truck to operate for up to miles or eight hours on a single charge.
