CPSG reported that the turnout exceeded expectations, as over 45 attendees representing 25 installing dealers across 14 states were present. "CPSG clients demand that we add value to their business," stated Randy Foor, CPSG's Midwest/Northeast regional manager. "Partnering in this endeavor with HySecurity and seizing upon the buzz surrounding their new crash products afforded us the opportunity to deliver value in the form of education. We could not be more pleased with the outcome." This was the first time HySecurity offered their crash authorization outside of their facility in Seattle, Washington, Foor said. Several HySecurity crash training engineers and technicians were on site to facilitate and conduct the training sessions. There was a substantial amount of content to cover in a short two-day period. Day one consisted mostly of training on HySecurity's hydraulic machines, along with programming and troubleshooting of the Smart Touch controller. Later that evening, attendees boarded a limo party bus destined for the Hollywood Casino near downtown Columbus. "Our entire business has been built on strong relationships," remarked Ryan Huyghe, CPSG's chief operating officer. "This provided a great opportunity to connect with our customers in a social, informal setting while gaining insight and understanding as to how CPSG may continue to assist with their professional development." In contrast, day two focused exclusively on Strong Arm M30/50 site preparation, post alignment, arm assembly, and unit operational training. The attendees were divided into two groups and trained simultaneously at two different stations. One station focused on the M30 operator controls, how to assemble and attach the arm, including the crucial alignment of the arm with the catch post. The other station was a mock-up of where the ground is dug and the concrete base is poured. It also included assembly of the cages and templates that are set in the concrete to anchor the operator and catch post, thus ensuring proper alignment. "HySecurity was very pleased with our ability to authorize and engage a large audience with a mix of Ryan Huyghe, chief operating officer of CPSG, addresses attendees at the start of the training session.
