Capitol Hill Report Highway and Transportation Officials recently congratulated President Obama on his nomination of Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx to be the next U.S. Transportation Secretary. "AASHTO congratulates the Senate for its overwhelming bipartisan support of WRDA," said Bud Wright AASHTO Executive Director.  "This vital piece of legislation touches every American in one way or another because it covers everything from the ports, to safe drinking water, and the infrastructure used to move people, goods and ultimately, America's economy.
