Equipment Focus Commercial Zero-turn Mowers Country Clipper Defender Starting with 26-inch drive tires, a wide wheel base, and the fuel tank placed under the seat, the Country Clipper Defender has superior holding capabilities, a smoother ride, and reduces turf damage. Model 2960EFI comes with a 60-inch cutting deck for mowing up to 5.3 acres per hour. It is powered by a 29-hp. Kohler EFI (electronic fuel injection) engine, which offers better fuel efficiency and easier operation than similar carbureted units. The mower is also equipped with a heavy-duty HydroGear pump and Parker wheel motors for smooth, reliable operation. The ELITE Cutting System on the Silver Eagle mower has a 1.75-inch blade overlap and uses Dixie Chopper's patented X-Blade technology. The high blade-tip speeds create a powerful vacuum, helping to produce high-quality cuts in any condition. Grasshopper enhances fuel-efficient mower line with new EFI models Coupling the latest engine technology with advanced drive and ergonomic systems, the Grasshopper Company recently announced two new Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) zero-turn mowers that provide performance and fuel economy for commercial operators and large-acreage owners. The new MidMount Model 327 EFI and FrontMount Model 727T EFI are powered by enhanced second-generation, fuel-efficient 747cc Kohler Command Pro closed-loop EFI engines. Closed-loop EFI engines offer a range of benefits to operators and dealers, including decreased fuel use, reliable hot and cold starts, reduced engine exhaust emissions and fewer fuel-induced service issues. The Delphi automotive-based system features plug-in diagnostics with engine feedback and performance information for easier diagnosis of service issues and faster service intervals. Model 727T EFI can be equipped with 52-, 61- or 72-inch DuraMax cutting decks, and 61- or 72-inch DuraMax decks are available for Model 327 EFI. Both models accept PowerVac Collection Systems. Gravely adds Kawasaki big bock engine to commercial Pro-Turn 400 XDZ Series Gravely recently introduced Kawasaki big block engine options to the Pro-Turn 400 zero-turn lineup. The Pro-Turn 400 commercial models are designed for maximum operator comfort and efficiency. The addition of the 35-hp. Kawasaki engine gives contractors extra horsepower for tough commercial jobs. Gravely's Pro-Turn 400 models feature the industry's first and only air-suspension seat with added seat isolation to provide a smooth, comfortable ride for all-day operation.
