Mower Focus | Commercial Riding Mowers BigDog Mowers X Series BigDog Mowers X Series features a welded steel deck (not stamped), foot-operated deck height adjustment, separate pumps and motors, heavy-duty air cleaner for increased engine protection, and optimal center of gravity for improved stability. It is available with 52-, 60- or 72-inch side-discharge/mulching decks, and boasts speeds up to 10 mph. BOB-CAT Predator-Pro commercial mower line BOB-CAT Predator Pro commercial mowers boast a non-permeable tank and fuel cap gasket that eliminate vapor release, while a patent-pending vapor retract feed recycles vapors through the carburetor — a green design that meets 2011 EPA emission/evaporative requirements without inhibiting fueling or fuel capacity. An exclusive ISO-Ride comfort system isolates the operator from vibration at all touch points, while the new lower platform provides a balanced center of gravity for exceptional stability on slopped terrain. An extra- wide discharge increases airflow to lift and dry grass blades — eliminating clumping under the deck — and a newly designed oversized chute discharges clippings in a wide fine pattern. Country Clipper BOSS SR1215 The Country Clipper BOSS SR1215 features a 37-hp. Kawasaki V-Twin with digital fuel injection and E-Governor; Dual Hydro Gear 12cc transmission with cooling fans and Hydro Gear wheel motors; and a 72- inch deck. The welded steel deck is reinforced with a triangular front bull nose, making it virtually indestruct- ible. Twenty-four-inch drive tires provide more stability on slopes and hillsides, as well as a smoother ride and less turf damage. Also available on the BOSS is the Power Lift, which allows the operator to make cutting height adjustments and stand the cutting deck up to a vertical position for easy cleaning and maintenance with the simple push of a button. The BOSS also comes standard with a folding Roll Over Protection System. Cub Cadet Commercial TANK L Cub Cadet Commercial introduced its newest zero-turn rider, the TANK L. Loaded with commercial features like a sloped-nose deck, suspension seat with elasticity vibration control (EVC) fabric, commercial drivetrain and a 3-year commercial warranty, the TANK L offers professional features for high-quality results. For power and performance, users can choose a premium Kohler Command V-Twin OHV engine offering either 25 or 27 horse- power along with a fabricated sloped-nose cutting deck in either 48 or 60 inch. For superior results, the slope nosed deck is engineered to force grass blades to rebound into the cutting edge for a cleaner, more even cut re- gardless of grass types. Combined with its pivoting front axle and lockout option, users can navigate challeng- ing terrain while enjoying a smooth ride and professional results. The durable TANK L also features a fully welded, 2-inch-by-2-inch frame and commercial drive system. Along with its large capacity, dual Hydro-Gear PK-12 pumps and Parker wheel motors, the unit offers easy operation and is built to take years of abuse. Dixie Chopper Classic The name says it all. The Classic hasn’t changed much from the mower that put Dixie Chopper on the com- mercial zero-turn map in 1980. With quality features like the Quad Loop hydraulic system, performance filters, and Dixie Chopper’s patented OCDC, the Classic provides industrial-strength performance and top value for heavy-duty mowing needs. Engines range from 27 to 33 hp. with Classic decks available in 50, 60 and 72 inches. Although Dixie Choppers have seen advances in horsepower, deck design and materials over the past 30 years, the basic timesaving principles upon which that original mower was conceived — speed, quality and reliability — are still inherent in current models. The Exmark Lazer Z X-Series The Exmark Lazer Z X-Series is available with 48-inch to 72-inch full-floating UltraCut Series 6 cutting decks, allowing users to mow up to 8.4 acres per hour. The Lazer Z X-Series is powered by 23- to 38-hp. Kohler Com- mand Pro V-Twin or Kawasaki V-Twin engines, enabling speeds up to 11.5 mph. The Lazer Z X-Series also fea- tures a Parker unitized pump and wheel motor system with no hoses, integrated cooling fans, and an integrated reservoir for improved performance and reduced maintenance. www.landscapeirrigation.com Landscape and Irrigation 27
