Product Round-up | Edgers Echo PE-265S straight-shaft edger The Echo PE-265S perfect-edge straight-shaft edger features a 25.4cc Power Boost Vortex engine for outstanding per- formance, and the straight shaft design reduces cable wear. It also features an i-30 starter for a 30-percent reduction in starting effort; ergonomically comfortable rubber left and right handle grips for all-day operation; a Pro-Torque gear case for optimum power to the blade; and a replaceable steel wear plate for extended gear case life. Grasshopper Edge-EZE edger Improve productivity, reduce time-consuming hand edging, and eliminate the need for 2-cycle edgers with Grasshopper's Edge-EZE. Electric and manual models deliver a clean edge up to 2.5 inches deep up to 500 feet per minute along side- walks, driveways and roadways. Edge-EZE allows vertical adjustment up to 12 inches and edging from the sidewalk, turf or curb. An optional electric actuator increases downward pressure in tough conditions and raises the disc to cross side- walks. Husqvarna Model 327ES Husqvarna Model 327ES is equipped with an E-TECH II engine for increased power and better fuel economy. The front handle can quickly be adjusted using the thumb screw. A wear plate under the engine and a reinforced spark plug guard provide added protection to the unit. The 327ES is outfitted with a heavy-duty 90-degree edger head; an efficient air fil- ter that provides less cost for service and less engine wear; a stand-alone starter that makes it easy to change starter cord if needed; and a stop switch that automatically resets to the "ON" position for easier starting. Kawasaki KEL27B edger The Kawasaki KEL27B edger is powered by Kawasaki's TJ27E engine. The 26.3cc engine is designed for "one-pull" start- ing and improved fuel efficiency, including an upgraded carburetor design that reduces exhaust emissions to meet the toughest EPA and CARB Tier III requirements. The "stratified" 2-barrel carburetor buffers in fresh air between the intake and exhaust cycle, which reduces unburned fuel in the exhaust. The engine's catalyst exhaust system further cuts emis- sions and enhances fuel efficiency for cleaner, more efficient operation. The engine's enrichment starting system re- places the typical choke, and eliminates chance of flooding the engine at start-up. RedMax HEZ3001S RedMax edgers are lightweight and efficient, yet tough enough to handle nearly any terrain. Advanced features include MaxTorque, a high-torque cutting capability that prevents stalling and increases commercial operator productivity; an open-face, clog-resistant die-cast aluminum guard; vibration dampening for user comfort; and extremely dependable component parts. Even the trigger is nearly unbreakable, designed and constructed to withstand even the most vigorous, extended wear and tear. The 29.4cc HEZ3001S edger features the Strato-Charged engine, which produces more horse- power with reduced emissions and up to 20 percent more fuel efficiency. Shindaiwa LE254 edger with Hybrid 4 engine technology Shindaiwa introduced the all new LE254, featuring the next generation of engine technology — Hybrid 4 — that fea- tures the best characteristics of both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine technology. Hybrid 4 provides lower emissions, more torque to the lower end, better fuel consumption, and a low tone sound. The Shindaiwa LE254 edger features a 24.5cc Hybrid 4 engine; an ergonomically designed left handle for reduced operator fatigue and natural hand positions; an anti- vibration system for long-duration cutting without fatigue; a purge-pump carburetor and electronic ignition system for fast, easy starts every time; and a 7.75-inch Cyclone edger blade. FC 90 edger from Stihl Get that professional finish you need with the FC 90 Stihl edger. Powered by a proven low-emission engine, this curved- shaft edger's heavy-duty replaceable skid plate protects the gearbox from wear, while its adjustable depth wheel lets users vary the depth of cut for a wide range of applications — providing that finished, professionally manicured look. 1305 Turf Teq power edger Turf Teq has a complete line of self-propelled walking-forward power edgers.
