The Beckett AquaSmart
®
is a universal
boiler control designed for use on gas
or oil residential and light commercial
boiler systems. All models include
the Beckett HeatManager
®
dynamic
temperature reset that, when selected,
provides up to 20% fuel consump-
tion savings. The control includes a
backlit LCD digital display with touch
pad to easily program temperature
limits, differentials, and other advanced
options. The AquaSmart also has
memory storage of system history for
help with diagnostic troubleshooting.
The AquaSmart also has an optional Wireless Temperature Module
accessory. The module adds outdoor reset capability to the control.

Bosch Thermotechnology
announces that its Buderus
G115WS and G215 series of
oil-fired residential boilers
successfully passed the new
ENERGY STAR 3.0 performance
testing for 87% AFUE, an
increase from 85% in previ-
ous years. This new regulation
went into effect October 2014.
Buderus developed a full three-pass system to increase efficiency
of the boilers and eliminates hot and cold spots in the boiler. The
unique way heat flows through the G215 boiler allows the water to
be heated three separate times. 3" thick thermal insulation around
the entire block helps to maintain a higher water temperature even
after the boiler has gone into standby mode. The distinctive chamber
design of the Buderus G215 also allows for nearly silent operation.
Buderus offers a full range of high efficiency indirect water tanks to
complement the boilers.
