Effective on 39 pests, including seven of the top 10 most troublesome ornamental insects, XXpire WG controls both chewing and sap-feeding species. XXpire WG offers two modes of action and provides excellent knockdown of pests. Isoclast is a recently registered active ingredient and the sole member of the sulfoximine class of insect control agents. Spinetoram is a spinosyn insecticide that offers improved insecticidal activity and longer residual control. Available for use in nurseries, greenhouses and commercial landscapes, XXpire WG controls whiteflies, aphids, mealybugs, lepidopterans, lacebugs, certain scales and thrips, and suppresses spider mites. It offers excellent systemic activity to control insects hidden in the plant canopy. MonuMent herbicide Monument herbicide from Syngenta is an excellent choice for post-emergence con- trol of winter annual weeds such as henbit, chickweed, wild garlic, parsley piert, rescue- grass and Poa annua in bermudagrass and zoysiagrass. With both foliar and soil activity, Monument is less temperature-dependent than other herbicides for quicker control of winter weeds. Monument can also be tank-mixed with Barricade herbicide on non-overseeded ber- mudagrass from mid-October to mid-November for pre- and early post-emergent control of Poa annua and rescuegrass. A 5-gram packet of Monument is available for broadcast applica- tions. Five individual 5-gram packets are con- tained in the 25-gram labeled package, which offer greater value to you when treating areas larger than 2,000 square feet. For backpack spot applications, Monument is available in single-dose 0.5-gram packs. Syngenta sup- ports a FIFRA Section 2(ee) recommendation for a use rate of 0.5-grams per two gallons of water to treat up to 2,000 square feet. AzAsol noW oMri listed for orGAnic use Arborjet announced that AzaSol, a 100% water soluble powdered Azadirachtin product for broad-based biological insect control, is now OMRI Listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute. An OMRI Listing is granted only for products that meet the criteria for use in certified organic production, handling and processing. AzaSol may be applied via soil drench, chemigation, drip irrigation, spray or trunk injection as a preventative or control against aphids, mealybugs, thrips, whiteflies, leaf miners and more.
