Welcome to Milwaukee County. As Milwaukee County Executive, I invite you to share the unequaled opportunities our county offers this and every win- ter for holiday activities and music, especially in our National Gold Medal Winning Park System. Visitors can choose from many holiday activities, such as viewing brilliant holiday lights at many county parks, including Pere Marquette, Cathedral Square, and Zeidler Union Square. There are numerous family-friendly opportunities avail- able throughout the county, including ice skating at Red Arrow Park and Breakfast with Santa at the Kosciuszko Community Center or Boerner Botanical Gardens. The Mitchell Park Domes have a lot to offer this holi- day season. "Music Under the Domes" continues this month on every Thursday, as well as a holiday light show, art fair and a special New Year's Eve party. Please make sure to enjoy what Milwaukee County has to offer. You, your family and friends will be glad you did. Sincerely, Chris Abele Milwaukee County Executive Tom Barrett, Mayor Milwaukee has great institutions of higher education - colleges and universities that add life, energy, and knowledge to our city.
