78 • FEBRUARY 2012 • WORLD FENCE NEWS Carolinas Fence Association wraps up 2011 with update on future chapter events The Carolinas Fence Association Check out World Fence News OnLine! www.worldfencenews.com met November 8, 2011 at the Four Seasons Restaurant in Spartanburg, N.C. for its last meeting of the year and an update on events and activities planned for 2012. The meeting was chaired by chap- ter president Bob Masten, who had just returned from an extended over- seas business trip. After dinner, Masten brought members and guests up-to-date on the work going on in preparation for the "table-top" regional trade show which will be incorporated (for the first time) in the CFA's next "By the Sea" get-to- gether, which will be held next Septem- ber in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Masten emphasized the impor- tance of pro- moting the Carolinas Fence Associ- ation to fenc- ing industry contacts. He reminded members that one great way for non- members to see the benefits of the as- sociation is to invite them to a monthly meeting, and that the CFA picks up the tab for a first-time visitor. He commended committee leader- ship and officers for their dedicated ef- forts in preparing for upcoming events and activities.
