FLEET 24 www.FlatbedTruckingJobs.com November 2015 N ashville-based M&W Transportation is communicating with its drivers us- ing a company-created video channel they call MWTV. "We're trying to create a new, innovative way to communicate with our drivers," said Zach Pugh director of communications and marketing for the company. The program combines company news with industry-wide news, weather and other topics the producers feel is helpful to the company's drivers. They package together these different news segments and recogni- tions into a weekly broadcast, which is shown on the driver room television as well as online on Vimeo. "The guys love that there's information in there and they can see it," said Pugh. He said the production team will oc- casionally invite drivers to participate in the program. They keep an eye on the Internet for videos and other content, and accept video suggestions. In addition to the weekly newscast, the production team also puts together other video features. Pugh said he believes there is potential for other fl eets to benefi t from establishing a similar program. "The long term goal is just to commu- nicate the best we can with our drivers," Pugh said.
