FLEET 12 www.FlatbedTruckingJobs.com February 2016 V eriha Enterprise, a trucking company located in Marinette, Wisc., is opening Veriha Driving Academy next month. The new driving school expects to have the capacity to train 100-150 new drivers. According to a statement from the com- pany, upon acceptance into the academy, students can receive fi nancial assistance from Veriha including fi nancing with repay- ment options and tuition reimbursement after graduation. Classes are two weeks long and will include instruction to obtain a Class A-CDL including classroom, range and behind-the-wheel instruction. Upon successful completion, students will be placed into Veriha Trucking's driver fi nishing program, which includes two to three weeks of over-the-road paid training with a trainer. Then, after graduation, driv- ers are placed into the company's over-the- road regional or home daily fl eet. Students fi nishing the program and joining Veriha Trucking can expect to earn between $40,000 and $45,000 in the fi rst year, $45,000 and $55,000 the second and $55,000 and $65,000 over the third and subsequent years. In addition to salary, drivers will be eli- gible for a benefi t package, home time and company paid time-off. Veriha Trucking, which has 317 drivers, provides dry van, refrigerated, fl atbed and hazmat services.
