Here is just a sampling of what you can do only in Milwaukee's Summer of 2012: • Surround yourself in prehistoric adventure this summer at the Milwaukee County Zoo's Adventure Dinosaur!Marvel at more than 20 realistic life-size robotic recreations, moving and rumbling in their tropical outdoor habitat from May 26 through Sept. 3. • Travel to France without jet lag from June 1-Sept. 9 by visiting the Milwaukee Art Museum, where the special exhibition Posters of Paris: Toulouse-Lautrec and his Contemporaries features rare preparatory drawings and watercolors, maquettes, and proofs to show how the artist went from idea to final execution. • Get up close and personal with Indy cars as racing returns to the historic Milwaukee Mile on Father's Day weekend, June 15-16. Experience racing, rides, music brats, beer and more. Saturday's races include the IndyFest 225, featuring stars like Helio Castroneves, Dario Franchitti, and Ryan Briscoe, followed by a Smash Mouth concert. • See and hear the world's largest music festival, now in its 45th year. Continuing improvements at the lakefront grounds make Summerfest an event for all ages. Be there June 27 to July 8. • Watch the world's best women golfers test Kohler's Blackwolf Run July 2-8 at the 2012 U.S. Women's Open.
