Not all fence contractors would agree with this methodology of oper- ating a business. Many feel that they should get as much as they can, when- ever the opportunity presents itself. Take your time and think this through. Decide how you want to run your company and what is important for you as an owner. Pick a few ideas and work with them. Remember also that once you have chosen a mission statement, all of your corporate efforts must be focused in accomplishing that mission. But don't worry; mission state- ments are also dynamic. They can change with the times and passions of the owner. Just try not to change too often; it can be confusing to the employees and the general public. Greater Chicago AFA 2012 golf outing coming up soon The Chicago Chapter AFA plans a big golf outing on July 26, 2012 at the Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, Ill. It will be a 10 a.m. shotgun start and will include lunch as well as dinner afterwards. All the usual side contests will be offered such as closest to the pin, longest drive, and longest putt made. Players are now being signed up, and sponsors are being sought for hole sponsorships, lunch, beer kegs, and other opportunities.
