Grid System 24-Volt Shelter Power System For vehicles stored in covered shelters, the flexible 24-Volt Grid System can be configured to fit almost any type of shelter. The shelter size of may require the use of multiple Grid Systems. The Grid System is an electri- cal system with power supply, wiring, conduits, junction box, drop chains and other compo- nents designed to be used with and power up to 30 24-Volt Drop Pulse and Charge Units (735X645). Input power is sup- plied by plugging into a standard 110-volt outlet. The system sup- plies 24-Volt DC current and must be installed by a certified electrician. 735X646 NSN 6130-01-497-0966 Grid System 24-Volt Shelter Power System Specifications Power supplied by existing power line through ac 100 V power cord Up to 30 drops Designed to cover 5000 square feet Grid pattern and design determined by shelter configuration and size 24V Reel 24-Volt Drop Pulse and Charge The 24-Volt Drop Pulse and Charge charges and maintains 24-Volt lead-acid battery systems inside vehicles left in indoor or outdoor covered shelters. The charging system monitors and charges each vehicle battery system as needed. When fully charged the system stops charging and continues to pulse the battery as needed. Throughout the charging and maintenance phase this system delivers an optimized high frequency pulse to reverse sulfa- tion on the battery plates. Batteries will last longer and will be ready to start when needed. LEDs indicate battery state of charge so you don't have to touch the vehicle. The system has a Drop Pulse and Charge unit, a reel with a retractable 38' cable with a quick disconnect con- nection that allows the use of a flexible cable with connector that fits into a slave receptacle, a heavy duty cable with lugs or a heavy duty cable lead with clamps. This system is designed to work in conjunction with the 24-Volt Grid System which powers the Drop Pulse and Charge. You will need one Drop Pulse and Charge per vehicle. 735X645 NSN 6130-01-497-0971 24V Reel 24-Volt Drop Pulse and Charge Specifications Output Current: 500 mA Max Input Current: 32 V dc Dimensions: 13.25" x 11" x 4.5" Weight: 9 lbs.
