Show Preview GIE+EXPO/ HNA/GIC T wo tradeshows — GIE+EXPO and Hardscape North America (HNA) — co-located in one central location, provide attendees with the opportunity to see what the industry is buzzing about. The shows will be held Oct. 25-26, 2012 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. Indoor exhibits will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days, and the outdoor exhibits will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Oct. 26.* The shows boast 750 exhibiting companies throughout 500,000 square feet inside the Kentucky Exposition Center and in the turf area outside; 19 acres of outdoor demonstra- tions and test driving, adjacent to the indoor exhibits; a New Products Showcase area highlighting the latest industry of- ferings; seminars to boost your efficiency and bottom line; and a wealth of networking opportunities. In addition to the trade shows, there are a range of edu- cational opportunities available, including workshops, sem- inars and demonstrations. The 2012 Green Industry Conference, sponsored by the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) is designed for companies in the design/build/installation, landscape man- agement, and lawn care markets. HNA conferences and out- door demonstrations offer approximately 24 hours of hardscape-specific topics. And the School of Grounds Man- agement, presented by the Professional Grounds Manage- ment Society (PGMS) focuses on four core competencies of grounds management, with an emphasis on sustainable management practices (Pre-registration is required for all educational sessions). * Note: A special day on the show floor for dealers only will be held Oct. 24.
